The CP7107 Low Profile
PCI serial interface provides one serial port configurable
for RS-422 or RS-485 and is capable of data rates to 921.6K
bps. The CP7107 utilizes an Oxford 16C950 UART to provide
128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs, for maximum reliability in data intensive
applications, and supports 9-bit protocols and isochronous
mode. Sealevel's SeaCOM software utilities make installation
and operation easy.
The CP7107 includes an onboard connector that routes power
from the host internal supply through the DB-9M connector
on pin 9. This allows easy connection of +5VDC or +12VDC
to peripherals including RS-485 SeaI/O modules, RS-422 and
RS-485 POS (Point of Sale) systems, or other real world
devices.
We include our Advanced COM drivers for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000
providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and other
enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are also
included to simplify installation.
