The CP7201 PCI serial
interface provides two serial ports, each individually configurable
for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485. The board is capable of data
rates to 460.8K bps and automatically handles RS-485 transmitter
enable/disable. The CP7201 utilizes 16C550 UARTs that provide
16-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs. Ordering options allow the choice of
UARTs with larger FIFOs, support for custom baud rates,
and 9-bit protocols. Chassis Plans' SeaCOM software utilities
make installation and operation easy.
Chassis Plans even has optional DB9 terminal block adapters
to simplify field wiring and custom pin-out configurations.
Windows 3.1x drivers and OS/2 drivers are available. We
include our Advanced COM drivers for 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and
XP providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and
other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are
also included to simplify installation.
