The CP7803 Low Profile
PCI serial interface provides eight RS-232 serial ports
capable of data rates to 460.8K bps. Each RS-232 port implements
all modem control signals for maximum compatibility with
a wide range of peripherals. The board is MD1 Low Profile
and Universal Bus (3.3V and 5V) compatible and utilizes
16C864 UARTs to provide 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs for maximum
reliability in data intensive applications. The board ships
with a 36" cable that terminates to eight DB-25M connectors.
The CP7803 is for use in Low Profile PCI slots only. If
you have a standard size PCI slot order item # CP7803S.
Windows 3.1x drivers and OS/2 drivers are available. We
include our Advanced COM drivers for 95/98/ME/NT/2000 and
XP providing IRQ sharing, Windows serial diagnostics, and
other enhanced features. Our Linux and QNX utilities are
also included to simplify installation.
