Chassis Plans Introduces the 31045 Dual Slim-CD Adapter

Chassis Plans' New 31045 Dual Slim CD Drive Adapter allows two slim CD form factor drives to be mounted in one 5-1/4" drive space.

San Diego, CA - Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source, announces its new 31045 Dual Slim CD Drive Adapter is available and shipping. The 31045 allows two slim CD form factor drives to be mounted in one 5-1/4" drive bay. While there are adapters that allow a single slim CD and a slim floppy to be installed, the 31045 is the first adapter available to allow the mounting of two slim CD drives.

The design of the 31045 was driven by a custom requirement by one of Chassis Plans' customers. After an exhaustive market search, it was found that no adapter was commercially available. To meet the custom requirement, Chassis Plans design and manufactured the 31045. Realizing a potential market exists, the 31045 was designated as a standard product and produced for retail sale.
