Chassis Plans Unveils New Space-saving, 1U 20.1" Rack Mount Monitor

First-ever 20.1" LCD Display to Fit in 1U of Rack Space.

San Diego, Calif. - September 13, 2005 - Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source™, today released the CPR-27201 Series, high-performance 1600x1200 pixel resolution, UXGA, LCD display - the first-ever 20.1" display that can fit in only 1U of rack space.

Designed to satisfy a wide range of industrial, commercial, broadcast and military requirements, the CPR-27201 display offers 250nit brightness, 500:1 contrast, and an 89 degree viewing angle for exceptional viewing ability. An anti-glare hard coating minimizes reflections making images that much clearer. The aspect ratio is 4:3 with a Pixel Pitch of only 0.255mm. It will display 16.7 million colors (True Color).

The CPR-27201's lightweight but rugged aluminum construction makes it perfect for mobile installations. A rugged version with enhanced rack retention is also available for severe environments.

A variety of keyboards can be installed offering trackball or Glidepoint mouse functions. A Sun Microsystems Type 5 Compatible keyboard provides all Sun function keys. A NEMA-4 keyboard with integrated pressure sensitive pointing device can be used in wet environments where chemicals or liquids may be spilled on the keyboard. Multiple language support is available.

The CPR-27201 is available in a standard black finish. However, as with all Chassis Plans' product offerings, a wide variety of custom options are also available such as color, customer logo, transmissive daylight modification and hard-coated vandal shields.
