San Diego, CA, January 3, 2011 -- Marc DeMatteo, a 6-year veteran of Chassis Plans, has been named President and COO of the San Diego, CA.- based manufacturer of rackmount computer systems and LCD displays.

DeMatteo is a well-known veteran in the industrial computing space, previously responsible for the rapid growth of Advent Designs and subsequent purchase by Industrial Computer Source and Kontron as well as holding responsible management positions within the new company ICS/Advent.

DeMatteo has been in charge of finance, operations, and manufacturing for Chassis Plans and was responsible for last year's move to a new building twice the size of the prior manufacturing facility. He has a strong background in sales and marketing as well as operations management.
