San Diego, CA – April 23, 2010 - Chassis Plans today announced that John Ranj has joined Chassis Plans as Director of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Ranj will assume responsibility for Sales Management and Strategic Partner Development, as well as developing infrastructure and systems to support the continuing significant growth at Chassis Plans in the rugged military computer and display systems arena.

Mr. Ranj brings to Chassis Plans 16 years of experience in the embedded computing space, with experience in hardware, software, systems integration and services. He is highly experienced in the industrial, OEM computing and military markets having worked for ICS Advent (now Kontron), Channel Access, a division of CG Mupac and Granite Microsystems. Mr. Ranj’s most recent management position was as Director of Sales at Clarity Design. Mr. Ranj is also a Navy Veteran with real life naval weapons systems experience.
