Chassis Plans Introduces the S6633
Chassis Plans' New dual processor S6633 and S6680 SHB Features the Intel® Quad- and Dual-Core Xeon Processors with the Intel 5000P and 5000XChipsets. The boards support up to 32GB of RAM with a FSB of 1.333GHz for unparalleled computing power. San Diego, CA - April 6, 2007 -Chassis Plans announces its S6633 Server Class and S6680 Graphics Class high performance Quad-Core Xeon System Host Boards. These leading edge boards are available in many configurations providing single or dual processors with dual-core and quad-core Xeon processors and up to 16GB Ram or 32GB Ram on the Extended Ram models. The S6633 Server Class family provide multiple PCI Express links to option card slots and devices on a compatible Server Class PICMG 1.3 backplane. The S6680 Graphics Class family provides full-spec x16 PCI Express slot support for high performance graphics and imaging cards. The high-bandwidth / high-speed PCI Express links designed into the the S6633 and S6680 family SHB's are ideally suited to support a wide range of PCI Express cards, devices and bridges to PCI-X/PCI option cards on Chassis Plans companion PICMG 1.3 backplanes. The processors and chip sets are on Intel's Embedded Roadmap allowing for long product availability avoiding the expensive problems of product obsolesce. The Chassis Plans' S6633 and S6680 SHB's are available with either single or dual processors and support Intel dual-core and quad-core Xeon processors. Populating with two quad-core Xeon processors provides eight high performance Xeon processor cores ideally suited for intense computing applications and extensive I/O workloads commonly found in high-end systems. Coupled with a maximum of 16GB of Ram and a 1.333GHz Front Side Bus with independent system buses for each processor means unparalleled performance. For ultra-high performance applications, an extended memory version of each board is available with up to 32GB of Ram. The S6633 Server Class family provides two x8 and one x4 PCI Express links. The S6680 Graphics Class family provides one X16 and one x4 PCI Express links.
