New Manufacturing Facility Allowing Chassis Plans to Expand Operations to
Support Continued Growth in Military Computing Markets

San Diego, CA - December 21, 2009 - Chassis Plans, The Original Industrial Computer Source®, announces the opening of their new LCD and computer system integration facility in San Diego, CA. "Our growth in 2009 and expansion of our rugged LCD manufacturing capabilities simply required more space to assure our customers continued service at the levels they have come to expect from us." said Marc DeMatteo, Chassis Plans' General Manager. "The new facility fits right into our ISO 9001:2009 certification."

Chassis Plans designs and manufactures rugged rackmount computer systems and militarily-enhanced LCD products for the demanding military and industrial markets. The new facility includes an expanded Engineering Department, state of the art anti-static manufacturing spaces, material and environmental testing for military standards verification, and enhanced rugged LCD capabilities.

"This new building gives me five times the manufacturing area." said Jose Ermino, Chassis Plans' Manufacturing Director. "We've set up dedicated cells for key accounts such as our new Homeland Security X-Ray computer upgrade program. I've now got room to install the X-Ray system we require and stocking area for the large quantities we are making."

Chassis Plans new system development and integration facility is located just North of San Diego in the Scripps Ranch industrial research park area.
