Description
The CPX family provides high performance rack mount 8U TFT LCD displays with a choice of screen sizes of 17-, 19- and 20.1-inch. The CPX family is designed to meet Mil-Std 901D and 810F and includes lightweight 5052-H32 aluminum construction and locking stainless hardware throughout. Electrical components are selected for their inherent ruggedness and mounted to enhance that.

The rack mount ears are screwed to the sides of the display body and can be removed allowing the monitor to be used with a VESA mount, panel mounted or bulk head mounted.

The 17-inch and 19-inch displays are high quality long life AUO TFT LCDs with a maximum native resolution of 1280x1024. The 20.1-inch display is a long life LG TFT LCD with a maximum native resolution of 1600x1200. All three displays are provided with 1.1mm soda lime glass with an ITO conductive EMI filter and an additional 1.1mm soda lime glass overlay with sputtered anti-reflective (AR) coating. Both pieces of glass are optically bonded to each other and to the front of the display for superior viewing and ruggedness. A 3mm copper bus bar around the entire glass stack-up provides grounding. The contrast is enhanced to approximately 1300:1 for both displays with this ITO/Anti Reflective glass stack-up.

Video inputs of analog VGA, DVI-D or DVI-I, NTSC/PAL/SECAM, Composite, S-Video and Component (YCbCr) are available on selected models depending on the installed controller.

LCD Controller Options
Three military grade LCD controllers are available providing a wide variety of input options. These controllers are conformal coated for durability with extended temperature ranges of -40 to +80 Deg C. operating. All are based on Genesis chipsets for state of the art display features and stability. The controllers are road mapped for long product availability for use in multi-year programs where consistency and reliability are paramount.

HE1400 - DVI-D and aRGB VGA inputs. Up scaling to fit image resolution to panel native resolution.
HE1600 - DVI-I, aRGB VGA, Video (NTSC/PAL,SECAM, Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video YCbCr). Up/Down scaling to fit image resolution to panel native resolution.
HE-1920 - DVI-D, aRGB VGA, Video (NTSC/PAL,SECAM, Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video YCbCr). Up scaling to fit image resolution to panel native resolution. Horizontal and vertical image inversion. Picture-in-picture.

Power Options
The basic display operates from 12VDC. An EMI filter is included inside the display assembly.

The standard option is a 110/220VAC 50/60Hz supply. Options are available for a 12VDC transient filter to allow reliable operation from vehicular 12VDC systems, MIL-STD 704/1275 28VDC supply, and a 48VDC supply.

Included with each supply is a rack mount bracket allowing secure mounting of the supplies in any standard rack.
