The military grade CPX family – comprised of 8U TFT LCD’s, offer rugged military rack mount or panel mount LCD displays. Whether seeking a 17” or 19” display, these military touch screen monitors are designed to perform and engineered to last. Meeting military standards 901D and 810G, the CPX family’s 5052-H32 aluminum construction and locking stainless steel hardware are inherently rugged and reliable. All electrical components are selected for strength, integrity, and reliable operation. Rack mount ears are securely screwed to the sides of the display body and can be removed, allowing the monitor to be used with a VESA mount, panel mount or bulkhead mount.

 

The 17” and 19” displays are high performance, long life TFT LCD’s offering a maximum native resolution of 1280x1024. The displays offer optional optically bonded 3mm Dura Block 90 anti reflective overlay glass. In addition, an optional laminated 1.1mm soda lime glass with an ITO conductive EMI filter and an additional 1.1mm soda lime glass overlay with Dura Block 90 anti-reflective (AR) coating. Both glass components are optically bonded to each other, and to the front of the display, for superior viewing clarity and overall ruggedness. A 3mm copper bus bar surrounds the entire glass stack-up and provides consistent grounding. A contrast ratio of approximately 1300:1 is delivered with this ITO/Anti Reflective glass stack-up.

 

CPX Rack Mount LCD Display ConnectorsDura Block 90 is a two surface treatment. The front surface is an oleophobic anti reflective coating resistent to fingerprints. The inner surface is treated with an infrared resistent coating to reduce heat loading on the LCD display from exposure to sunlight.

Rackmount LCD Controller TableTwo military grade LCD controllers are available which provide a full array of input options. These controllers are conformal coated for durability- offering extended operating temperature ranges of -30 to +80 degrees Celsius. All controllers are built on Genesis chipset foundations – which provide state of the art display graphics and stability. These controllers are road mapped for long-term availability and are applicable for use in multi-year programs where consistency and reliability are of paramount importance..

 

  • Standard - DVI-D and aRGB VGA inputs. Up scaling to fit image resolution to panel native resolution. Sync on Green. RS-232 Serial Protocol for panel control.

  • Advanced - DVI-D, aRGB VGA, HDMI, Video (NTSC/PAL,SECAM, Composite Video, Component Video YCbCr), 3G HD-SDI. Up/down scaling to fit image resolution to panel native resolution. Picture-In-Picture and Picture-By-Picture. Freeze and zoom. Variable aspect. Wide screen mode detection. Sync on Green. RS-232 and Ethernet command protocols for panel control. Text overlay. Optional HD-SDI and 3G HD-SDI.

 

Rhino Touch® Armored Glass Touch Screen Option

Resistive touch screen option, durable and resistant to scratches and blows from blunt objects. Activation by finger, glove and
stylus with a minimum of 85 grams of pressure. Touch translates to a location within 0.098”, or 2.5mm, on both X and Y axis of
where the touch occurred. Over 60 million touches per point.

 

Safety: Should the glass substrate break, the shards are held internally by the optical bonding adhesive, protecting the user
from harm


Power Options

To ensure flexibility, these military touchscreen monitors operate from 12V DC. An EMI filter is included inside the display assembly. An optional 110/220VAC 50/60Hz power supply is available to offer mission flexibility. 12V DC transient filters, MIL-STD 704/1275 28VDC power supplies, and 48V DC power supplies are available, which permit reliable operation when working from vehicular-mounted electrical systems. Included with each power supply is a rack mount bracket, which allows secure mounting in any standard rack.
