The IMC-T121XGA is an ideal system for industrial control in adverse environments such as rugged industrial environments or mining equipment.
The system is sealed to IP65 and is water proof. Fanless operation means no outside air is required to cool the system eliminating an opportunity for contamination of the inner workings.
The front of the system presents a 12.1 XGA 1024x768 LCD with a touch screen. The LCD provided 450 nits of luminance with a contrast ration of 1000:1 for good visability in high bright environments.
The processor is a low power Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz device dissipating only 2.5W with a 945GSE / ICH7M chip set. System memory is 1GB onboard DDR2 and one DDR2 SODIMM socket supporting up to 2GB 400/533 memory. |
A compact flash socket provides for solid state disk. An internal drive bay supports 2-1/2" SATA drives.
Primary construction is from milled aluminum for strength and heat dissipation. The front panel is a attractive milled aluminum construction.
The bottom of the unit provides two RJ45 ethernet ports, a USB port and an RS232 port. The ports are provided with sealed caps and can be populated with self sealing connectors to maintain the IP65 rating.
The rear is a finned aluminum part with a VESA mounting pattern for easily mounting the system in the vehicle.
The overall effect is a very robust enclosure to protect the system in any foreseeable environment. |
