DESCRIPTION The ATXR-QZ35Q ATX long life industrial motherboard is based on the latest Intel Q35 Express chipset which delivers support for Intel Core™ 2
Duo processors and the upcoming Intel Core™ 2 Quad processors bringing higher performance in combination
with greater energy efficiency. The Front Side Bus support is extended up to 1333MHz for use with nextgen 45nm
processors. The ATXR-QZ35Q also supports faster DDR2-800 dual channel memory. Powered
by the Intel® Core 2 Duo E6400, E4300 or E2160 or a Celeron 440 processor and
the Intel® Q35 Express chipset, the ATXR-QZ35Q Industrial
Motherboard was designed specifically for performance
intensive industrial applications such as Medical Devices,
Security Systems, Imaging, Industrial Automation, and
Communications. Dual-core processing is the latest innovation in microprocessor technology. With two execution cores packaged into one processor, dual-core processing allows for simultaneous computing, delivering higher throughput with greater energy efficiency. PCI Express is the new I/O interconnect bus standard capable of high bandwidth transfers up to 4 GB/s. The featured PCI Express x16 dedicated graphics slot supports the latest high-performance graphics cards, delivering over 3.5 times traditional AGP 8X. This feature is ideal for graphic intensive embedded computing applications. An additional PCI Express x4 slot in a x16 connector is capable of transferring 2 GB/s, up to 3.5 times faster than standard PCI architecture. Five PCI slots assures compatibility with legacy I/O cards. The ATXR-QZ35Q comes with additional USB 2.0 ports with 6 on the rear I/O panel, 2 on-board connectors and 4 via on-board headers. Six SATA 3 Gbps ports are available, one of which also supports eSATA for use with external drives at a distance of up to 2m. It has two Super I/O controllers providing 4 serial ports and a parallel port. With 5 PCI slots, the ATXR-QZ35Q is well suited to industrial automation and video surveillance applications with a need for additional I/O and slots. A range of long life embedded processors is available for use with the ATXR-QZ35Q. These include the Core™ 2 Duo E6400, E4300 and Celeron processors for a choice of scalable options to suit the price / performance needs of the application. The ATXR-QZ35Q
Industrial Motherboard supports six (6) Serial ATA connectors (300MB/s)
for high-speed hard disk drives, one (1) Ultra ATA100 interface, twelve (12) USB 2.0 ports,a 10/100/1000 Ethernet
port, Realtek ACL883 High Definition Audio, and onboard
Intel® Graphics Accelerator 3100. Standard features include five (5) 32-bit PCI slots for legacy devices, one (1) PCI-Express x16 and one (1) PCI-Express x4 slot (in a x16 connector), one (1) RS232 serial port, one (1) parallel port via on-board header, one (1) PS/2 mouse/keyboard connector, and one (1) floppy controller. The ATXR-QZ35Q has an integrated Intel GMA 3100 graphics controller for exceptional 3D graphics performance. It has a conventional x16 PCI Express graphics slot for use with graphics acceleration cards and a x16 slot (4 PCI Express lanes) for use with a second graphics card or other high bandwidth data capture device for use in advanced imaging applications.
