DESCRIPTION
The ATXR-QZ45Q is a long-life ATX motherboard supporting Intel 3Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processors up to 3.33GHz. Combining the Intel Q45 chipset with the Intel ICH10DO I/O controller hub delivers chipset performance and functionality well suited for challenging embedded computing applications. The processor supports up to 16GB of DDR2 or 8GB of DDR3 Dual-Channel memory in four DIMM sockets. The Front Side Bus support is extended up to 1333MHz for use with nextgen 45nm processors. Availability is guaranteed at 6 years or more; ideal for supporting multi-year military programs where product consistency is paramount.
The ATXR-QZ45Q ATX platform supports Intel® Trusted Execution Technology (Intel® TXT) to protect against software based attacks, and safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of data stored or created on an embedded system. In addition, this industrial motherboard features an integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500, with the latest graphics technology to enhance multi-media applications.
A range of long life embedded processors is available for use with the ATXR-QZ45Q including Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad offering a choice of scalable options to suit the price / performance
needs of the application. The ICH10DO I/O controller hub provides high performance in conjunction with the Q45 chipset
The ATXR-QZ45Q combines the benefits of Core 2 duo and quad core processing with the Q45 Chipset, ideal for embedded OEM’s requiring high-performance power-efficient platforms with greater data throughput to perform diverse tasks simultaneously. The ATXR-QZ45Q is custom-designed to meet a diverse range of embedded computing requirements across a wide spectrum of mission requirements, including military, security, medical electronics, simulation and telecommunications.
The featured PCI Express x16 dedicated graphics
slot supports the latest high-performance graphics cards,
delivering over 3.5 times traditional AGP 8X. This feature
is ideal for graphic intensive embedded computing applications.
An additional PCI Express x4 slot is capable of transferring
2 GB/s, up to 3.5 times faster than standard PCI architecture. Five PCI slots assures compatibility with legacy I/O cards. With 5 PCI slots, the ATXR-QZ45Q is well suited to industrial automation and video surveillance applications with a
need for additional I/O and slots.
The ATXR-QZ45Q comes with four rear mounted USB 2.0 ports and
8 via on-board headers. It offers two serial ports via on-board headers.
