The F6000 Series chassis is a high performance design in a low cost 1U rackmount enclosure. Feature rich, the F6000 Series is a solid, robust design which will meet the most rigorous and demanding requirements. This chassis is ideal for high density server applications including collocation.

The enclosure is constructed of 18 gauge steel, clear zinc plated for corrosion protection and an attractive appearance. The front panel is attractively detailed and is of heavier gauge than the chassis.

There is more than ample drive storage. Two drive configurations are possible. One configuration allows one external 5.25 inch drive, one 3.5 inch drive and one internal 3.5 inch hard drive.

The other configuration allows for one external slim FDD, one slim CD/DVD plus three internal 3.5 inch hard drives.

A door covers and protects the drives. Accessible behind the door is the power and reset switches as well as the power-on and drive activity LED's. The LED's are visible through the door when it is closed. A dual USB port is also provided behind the front door.

Cooling is provided by five fans, two 40x20mm (8.6 CFM each) in front and three 40x12mm (7.0 CFM each) in the rear.

The F6000 Chassis provides a 3-slot passive backplane for use with a single board computer. Two plug-in cards can be installed in addition to the SBC using the included riser card.
