Integrated F9 System Availability
The F9 Series 1U chassis is available configured with pre-qualified high quality long life revision controlled components as the C105xx family. Systems with Core 2 Duo/Quad or Core i5 processors
are on offer. The components comprising these systems are best-of-class allowing multi-year program availability with assured quality.
The F9 Series chassis
is a high performance design in a low
cost 1U rackmount enclosure for those
applications that require a 5-1/4"
drive bay in 1U. Feature rich, the F9
Series is a solid, robust design which
will meet the most rigorous and demanding
requirements. This chassis is ideal for
space limited applications.
The enclosure
is constructed of 18 gauge steel, clear
zinc plated for corrosion protection
and an attractive appearance. The front
panel is attractively detailed and is
of heavier gauge than the chassis.
The F9 provides
for two internal 3-1/5" hard drives,
one front accessible 5-1/4" drive
bay and front floppy drive.

The F9Chassis is
ideally suited for a data acquisition
/ control system, network appliance, VPN
Gateway or Cluster Server.
The chassis is cooled
by five 40mm ball bearing fans. Air flow
is in through the front. Three fans are
mounted mid-chassis and two are mounted
on the rear panel.
A door covers and
protects the drives. Accessible behind
the door is the power and reset switches
as well as the power-on, drive activity,
and LAN LED's plus two USB extension ports.
The LED's are visible through the door
when it is closed.
The F9 Chassis provides
for mounting a standard ATX motherboard
up to 9.6 x 12-inches. One plug-in card
can be installed. A variety of riser cards
are optionally available for 32 and 64-bit
slots.
Power supply options
include AC and DC input power.
