Chassis
Plans offers a variety of ball bearing and solid bearing slides
for mounting your chassis into rack enclosures. Most electronic
enclosures are based on dimensional guidelines per ANSI/EIA
310 Specifications. The slides we offer are designed to meet
these same dimensional standards and will fit any 19"
rack.

# Extends 0-6" with optional B-309 or B-389 1U Rear Extension Mounting Bracket. One of the frustrations of slide selection is the hole pattern for mounting the slide to the chassis. There isn't an established industry standard, so different brands of slides incorporate different patterns. Adding to the frustration, most slide manufacturers use a different pattern for different lengths of slides. You might purchase a chassis that utilizes a 20" slide for installation into a 20" deep enclosure. However, if you want to mount it into a 30" deep enclosure you will discover that the hole pattern for a 30" slide isn't the same; you must modify either the chassis or the 30"slide.
* Extends 0-6" with optional B-308 2U Rear Extension Mounting Bracket.
