Chassis Plans offers the R4U24Axx 4U Rugged Military Grade Rackmount Systems as fully defined and configured off-the-shelf rackmount system solutions. Four high performance motherboards are offered providing different processor/chipsets and slot options. The components comprising these rackmount systems are best of breed and have been carefully selected, tested and qualified for high performance, reliable operation, and long product availability. The processors and chip sets have been specified from the Intel Roadmap for assured multi-year availability.
These rackmount systems have been thermally optimized for high power processors and the military and rugged environments these systems are installed into. The systems are well cooled with two high flow long life fans controlled by CP Systems' SysCool Intelligent Adaptive Fan Controller for extended fan life and lower system noise.
The R4U24A Rackmount Server Family has been designed around Chassis Plans' M4U-24A, a rugged military grade rackmount computer enclosure designed and manufactured by Chassis Plans and designed to survive! Aircraft grade aluminum construction, shock mounted drive support, self locking stainless hardware, solid construction, designed and manufactured in the USA. These system are ideal for high shock / high vibration environments such as vehicular or aircraft mount or transit case installation. The depth of 24 inches allows it to fit high performance XEON EATX motherboards. The rugged construction and enhanced features will assure its reliable operation in all challenging environments.
The R4U24Axx Rackmount Server
can be custom configured with other processor, memory and plug-in card options to meet specific program requirements. Chassis Plans can manage customer supplied material and source 3rd party components as well as manage the software installation to provide a true turn-key one-stop solution.

the following standard off-the-shelf configurations. Alternative solutions can be provided as required by the application.
