The SA2U-12EHP performance-optimized storage array is designed to meet the needs of customers who require the highest levels of SAN performance in the most demanding environments such as military organizations and telecommunications equipment providers. The SA2U-12EHP boasts measured performance of an amazing 375,000 IOPS (same sector cache) and provides more than 1.6Gb/second read and 1.3Gb/second write throughput, driving application performance to new levels.
To ensure that the SA2U-12EHP performs under rugged conditions, the SA2U-12EHP has been tested to meet the NEBS Level 3 telecommunications standard, and military's MIL SPEC 810F standards for land, sea and air deployment. The SA2U-12EHP is ideal for building SANs that may need to perform in mobile situations, with the option to deploy solid state disks (SSDs). |
The performance-optimized SA2U-12EHP storage array provides four 4Gb fibre channel interfaces and supports a wide variety of SAS, SATA-II, and SSD drives - allowing customers to chose the performance and storage capacity that they need.
The architecture offers even more value and investment protection to customers through data-in-place migration. Data-in-place migration allows customers to upgrade from the 2730 storage array to a SA2U-12EHP storage array by replacing only the RAID controllers and leaving the disk drives in place.
Advanced data protection features which allow customers to implement point-in-time snapshot backups and complete volume copies. |
