Chassis Plans offers the Rugged Enterprise Systems class as fully defined and configured off-the-shelf rackmount solutions. The components comprising these systems are best of breed and have been carefully selected and qualified for high performance, reliable operation, and long product availability.

The 1B-41AE17 Rugged Enterprise System Solution is a long life industrial 4U rackmount computer featuring legacy ISA support. Powered by an Intel® Pentium 4 processor at 2.8GHz, Intel® 845E/GV chipset and 1GB or 2GB of 333MHz RAM, the included Chassis Plans' ATXP-845G industrial motherboard was designed specifically for industrial applications such as Security, Medical Devices, Imaging, Industrial Automation, and Manufacturing.

Included are five 32-bit PCI slots, one AGP video graphics slot, and two ISA slots for support of legacy ISA plug-in boards.

Multiple hard drive options are available from a single fixed 250GB drive to five removable hot swap 750GB drives in a RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 configuration. Included is a high performance double layer DVD/RW drive (8.5GB) and a floppy drive. Other drive configurations are available at customer request.

Standard rear panel features one gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports, one RS232 serial port (factory configurable to RS422/RS485), one (1) PS/2 mouse/keyboard connector, one parallel port and audio I/O connectors. Additional I/O ports are available on internal headers. The system includes on-board the Intel Extreme Graphics with a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 @ 60HZ.
