Portable PC Computer Overview
For those field applications where it is impractical to lug around a computer, monitor and keyboard/mouse, Chassis Plans offers a series of Portable Computers (also known as Portable PC Computers, LunchBox Computers or Luggable Computers). These Portable Computer Systems offer full PC functionality with everything built in. For example, the MP3X17 offers three 17-inch 1280x1024 LCDs and accommodates an ATX motherboard providing seven plug-in card slots. These rugged Portable Workstation Systems are perfect for such applications as computer forensics, UAV flight control systems, remote GIS and mapping, and flight line data acquisition, analysis and control.
