SEGMENTED BACKPLANE
The backplane is divided into two segments with each segment operating independently and consisting of an ISA Bus and a PCI Local Bus. The two segments share the same power source.

ISA SLOTS
Provides a total of 11 ISA Bus slots for the use of standard ISA Bus option cards. One segment provides six ISA Bus slots; the other provides five ISA Bus slots.

PCI LOCAL BUS SLOTS
Provides a total of six PCI Local Bus slots for the use of standard PCI Local Bus option cards. There are three PCI slots in each segment.

CPU SLOT
Each segment provides a CPU slot that accepts a PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG®) 1.0 compliant single board computer.

PRINTED CIRCUIT LAYERS
The backplane is a six-layer .062" thick board. Three signal layers, +5 voltage layer, +3.3 voltage layer and ground layer. Multi-layer construction provides excellent noise immunity.

POWER CONNECTORS
The standard AT power connection is available through two 12-pin .156 MTA connectors or one terminal block connector. Power connection for +3.3V is available through a 12-pin .156 MTA connector or an ATX connector (optional).

AUXILIARY POWER CONNECTOR
Additional power capacity is available through two 6-pin .156 MTA connectors.

POWER INDICATORS
The power indicators provide a convenient visual check for +5V, -5V, +12V, -12V and +3.3V power connections.
