Chassis Plans has developed an interface
board, the CFDC, which allows a Compact Flash™
card to be used with our Single Board Computers. The
CFDC is designed to work both as an on-board or an off-board
device, depending on your requirements. By using the
CFDC, you are able to emulate an IDE hard disk drive,
providing you with the extra storage you need.

CFDC MEZZANINE KIT
To use the CFDC as an on-board device,
S5826-010, the CFDC is plugged into the IDE connector.
Mounting hardware and cables are included in the kit.
FLASH MEMORY
The Chassis Plans CFDC is compatible
with the San Disk Compact Flash™ (SDCFBX-YY-ZZZ)
or the Micron Compact Flash (MTCFOxxA).

The CFDC off-board kit allows the
CFDC to be mounted externally in an enclosure or with
an I/O bracket as shown above. I/O brackets and cables
are included in the kit.
