The H2S2 is an optional I/O expansion mezzanine card that adds a dual channel Ultra160 SCSI interface to Chassis Plans's XPI single board computer. Capable of interfacing up to 15 SCSI devices per channel, the H2S2 brings high-speed I/O expansion to the SBC. Using a constant-impedance 38-pin connector, it connects directly to the XPI's Memory Controller Hub (MCH) via the Intel^® Hub Link 2.0 interface..

SCSI (DUAL)
The H2S2's dual SCSI interface supports two concurrently operating channels, each of which can support up to 15 devices. The QLogic ISP12160A Dual Channel SCSI controller handles data transfer up to 160MB per channel. No host intervention is required to execute SCSI operations from start to finish.

HUB LINK 2.0 INTERFACE
The H2S2 connects to the Memory Controller Hub of the XPI single board computer via Hub Interface C. This 1GB/s, point-to-point, 16-bit connection path into the Memory Controller Hub maximizes the SCSI device's connection speed into the SBC.
