Return Material Authorization
An RMA number is required for all
returns and repairs. Should one of our products need
service, your Sales Engineer will issue you an RMA number
that is valid for 30 days.
Defective Return
When returning an item for repair,
do not include accessories such as manuals, software
or cables unless requested to do so.
Our standard policy is to provide
depot repair or replacement for defective parts. If
cross shipment of a replacement part is authorized by
your Sales Engineer, you will be invoiced for that part.
Once the defective part has been returned to us, a credit
will be processed and applied to your account.
Credit Return Standard
Products
When returning an item for credit,
please send everything that was included in the original
shipment, including manuals, software, cables, and the
packaging. Products which are incomplete or show signs
of damage or abuse may be subject to a restocking fee.
Products returned after 30 days are subject to a 20%
restocking fee. Products returned after 60 days are
subject to a 50% restocking fee.
For all returns, regardless of
the reason, the packaging must provide adequate protection
against the possibility of damage in shipment and the
RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of
the shipping box. Any unauthorized return will be rejected.
Returned items must be received
by Chassis Plans in 'as new' condition.
Opened software products are not
eligible for return unless defective in which case they
will be replaced with like product.
Credit Return Non Standard
Products
Any product which has been designed
and manufactured to meet a unique customer specification,
whether it involves the modification of a standard product
or is an entirely new design, is considered a Non Standard
Product and may not be returned for credit.
Turnaround Time
Our intent is to process returns
within five business days, though repairs may take longer.
Shipping Cost
The customer is responsible for
the cost of returning products to our warehouse, whether
for repair or credit. Chassis Plans assumes responsibility
for the outbound shipping costs.

Warranty Terms & Period
All integrated computer systems
come standard with a two-year limited warranty against
manufacturing and material defects. All LCDs, keyboards
and other accessory products are protected by a one-year
limited warranty. This warranty policy covers replacement
or repair of the original product at Chassis Plans
option and is made solely to the purchaser. It also
assumes that the product has not been modified or subjected
to unusual physical or electrical stress. This warranty
is void for any product damaged due to improper packaging
when returned for RMA purposes.
Chassis Plans makes no warranties,
expressed or implied, with respect to software and related
manuals and media. All such items are sold or licensed
to the purchaser strictly on an as is basis.
Chassis Plans sole obligation
shall be the repair or replacement of defective goods.
In no event shall Chassis Plans be liable for any loss,
damage, or injury of any kind arising out of or in connection
with these terms and conditions. Neither Chassis Plans,
nor its hardware or software suppliers, makes any warranty,
expressed or implied, concerning the applicability of
any hardware or software for any specific purpose.
Extended Warranty
Customers may purchase extended
warranty coverage and onsite service contracts for their
products at the time of purchase. Please contact your
sales engineer for details.
Out Of Warranty
The cost for repairing out
of warranty items will be quoted on a time and material
basis. The customer must approve of any repair charges
before their repair will be processed.
